Can vouch for these sort of prices at pretty much any major supermarket in a decent sized city in Russia. Used to live in Moscow for work and constantly found back then, prices where 1/2 to 1/3 of prices anywhere in the west. Germany was the most expensive then and America a close second. It's also very high quality in the vegetables and meats as there is NO funky GMO or any other garbage in it. Very healthy food. Wish I was back there already.

Think about all the ressources Putin is using for his invasion of Ukraine - ressources that could have been spent on better russian schools, roads, hospitals, social services, etc. What is Putin gonna tell the thousand russian mothers who lost their sons in Ukraine in his insane war? Nothing, because Putin is also a despicable coward. Putin is letting the youth of russia die in a war nobody wanted. Currently, Putin is ruining the russian economy for decades.
